Deliberate Luxury: Our Alpaca Collection originates in the Andean Mountains where regional farmers practice small scale herding. It is cruelty free. How is that even possible? 30% of the herd is lost to the elements during the rainy season. We salvage these hides which would otherwise be a complete loss to the herders. The natural life cycle in these mountains is beautiful yet harsh. This a way to bring furs to market - a silver lining type of situation which also helps sustain our partners in Peru.
